01 / Watch
The place, through a lens.

02 / Plan
Make room for the adventure.
The walk
The Forest Service lists a 0.7-mile trail each way. It crosses the creek on footbridges and finishes at an observation deck. The beginning is steeper than the rest of the route. An easy rating is a general description, not a guarantee that every visitor will find the walk easy.
Plan the outing
Treat the walk and the filming as separate parts of your day. Leave room to pause, put the camera away and make the return trip without rushing. Save the official trail page and an offline map before leaving; the film is a view of the place, not turn-by-turn navigation.
Know where the trail ends
The Forest Service advises against going behind the falling water and warns visitors not to climb above the falls. Stay on the designated route and viewing area. Wet rock and muddy ground need particular care. Check the official page for current access information before travelling.
03 / Behind the frame
Photograph with care.
Choose a stable position on the designated route before taking out your equipment. Make one wide composition, then look for smaller details you can photograph without stepping into the creek. Keep the path clear when you stop, and protect the camera from moisture. These are creative suggestions, not a description of the settings used in the film.
