Project inquiries

When secure delivery is configured, the contact form sends your name, email, selected service and message through Brevo to 9Devy. Your email is used as the reply address; sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. When secure delivery is unavailable, the form explicitly opens an email draft in your own email app instead. The website does not keep an inquiry database.

Email list, Oregon guide & LUT delivery

When signup is available, your email address is sent to Brevo to request confirmation. Only subscribe if you want the offer described beside the signup form and 9Devy field notes. The guide-only offer includes the Oregon planning PDF. A guide-and-LUT bundle is offered only when the actual LUTs are ready. Confirmation is required before joining the list. You can unsubscribe through the link in a 9Devy email or contact us to request removal. Signup remains unavailable until the advertised offer and confirmation flow have been configured. The initial planning PDF is not a live conditions report.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks enabled subscription and inquiry forms for abuse. To limit repeated attempts, the server briefly stores counts indexed by a keyed hash of the network address and hour; raw IP addresses and form contents are not stored in these rate-limit records. Old records are removed on subsequent form requests after two days. The hosting provider may separately keep access logs. Hosting and email providers may process technical information to deliver their services and prevent abuse. See Brevo’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Videos & links

YouTube images load from YouTube’s servers. On gallery pages, a YouTube player loads after you choose a film. On dedicated film watch pages, the player loads as part of the page; playback remains under your control. TikTok’s official creator embed loads when you approach its section and can process information under TikTok’s privacy policy. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Blocking third-party embeds does not prevent you from following the direct channel links.

Local storage

This website caches the public YouTube collection in your browser so the gallery can still display during a temporary feed outage. It does not save your contact-form entries or email address in local storage. Saved-adventure shortcuts are also stored locally in this browser. These do not download videos or maps and do not sync across devices. You can clear saved adventures on the Saved page or remove all stored data through your browser settings. A selected service may be held in session storage while you move to the contact page.

Audience & performance measurement

Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics can measure page visits and loading performance without analytics cookies. It is inactive until configured by 9Devy. When enabled, this site skips its analytics script for Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences. Optional event hooks can connect to an analytics service configured by 9Devy. They contain the action name, a content identifier and the page path, never the email address or message body. No event collector is included or active by default. Video platforms and the hosting service may separately process technical information under their own policies.

Gear links

Affiliate links, when configured, are identified by a disclosure in the gear section. Purchases take place on the retailer’s website.

Saved and shared adventures

Saved destination references are stored in this browser. A shared shortlist places destination slugs in the link fragment. Anyone with the link can open those places; the link contains no email address or private trip notes. Opening a shared list does not replace your existing saves.

Email interests

If the optional preference selector is enabled, your choice of adventures, filmmaking or both is passed to Brevo with your subscription request. You can request a preference change by emailing 9Devyllc@gmail.com or use the unsubscribe link in the emails.

Video measurement

If enabled by the site owner, the official YouTube player can provide playback-state events to the configured analytics integration. No viewing history is saved by the shortlist feature. This site’s optional analytics hooks respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
